This lamp is an "Underwriters Laboratories" lamp. Sticker is still on the bottom. The lamp is made of an antiqued bronze metal. There appears to be some minor flaking on the base and stem. See photos. This is inconspicuous and appears to blend into the color and tone of the lamp. The wiring is in good shape and had a rotary dimmer switch built into the cord. There is also a key switch on the lamp. The lamp can be operated with both the key switch and dimmer switch for on and off functions. The dimmer switch works with dimmable bulbs. I would not suggest greater than 60 Watts or according to manufacturer guidelines for the bulb type, etc.

The mint green glass vintage shade has no chips or cracks. The shade is a apple green cased swirl twist pattern that is very unique. The lamp also has an frosted chimney to diffuse light even further. There is surface wear present that is consistent with the age. This lamp makes for a perfect study lamp, library lamp, hallway lamp, desk or bedroom lamp.

This lamp would be a great gift for valentines, easter, birthday, anniversary, wedding or any special occasion, however its so nice that you would probably want to keep it..
