This is a Blue Base Fenton Peacock and Urn Sawtooth and Scalloped Pattern Edge Large 8 inch wide and 3 inches tall bowl.
VERY rare in this condition and quality. These are out there and some range in the low price category. This is not one of those, I can assure you. This is high quality condition collector worthy.
This is a stunning piece!!!!. I do not think that even with the high quality pictures that I have, that I can do this piece Justice. The shimmer is beautiful and it flows into an opalescence and back to bright iridescence. The Blue and Gold intermingle and are outstanding and at the turn of direction it intermingles with greens and violets with flaring hints of purple. This is indeed a work of art, worthy of being noted as high quality in my opinion. I will be glad to answer any question or send additional pictures or videos when engaged in private chats for interested buyers.
Condition: Pristine High Quality Example Collector Quality in my opinion... There are no chips or cracks identified. Surface level scratches under high magnification that are consistent with display use on the bottom that can be seen in the photos. Some Glass has internal flaws that are due to the manufacturing process. This piece has few and slight air bubbles within the glass but are very difficult to find. I do not think you will find a better piece and the quality of this item brings it to the highest end of valuation. The quality and scarcity of this piece will make it highly sought after from collectors and those looking to preserve works of art like this for centuries to come. Although this item is of the highest quality it can absolutely be used for home decor, to accent larger pieces or coordinate with different color palates to accentuate centerpieces or be a centerpiece. The options are endless including display.
