LARGE TRENCH ART SPENT SHELL TABLE LAMP. WWI era Circa 1930's. Rare.. I have not seen another one like this. Hand hammered eagle relief. 26" H. The top of the shell has a small scratch that is barely noticeable. Three sockets with separate pull chains. Lamp is in great working condition. Shown with Edison bulbs (not included with purchase).

This is a great example of hand made trench art. This type are was historically made by veterans from war time souvenirs. The hand hammered eagle is stunning. Star tips adorn the distant end of the shell top and match perfectly to the eagle. This piece sends the message of patriotism and overwhelming power of the US Military and dedication of the men and women that served.

This item came from a grand estate in California. This was an heirloom lamp that has been in the same family since the 1930's as described by the estate representative.
