French. Cut amethyst rock crystals. Dimensions: H 17" x W 7.5" x D 6" Condition: Minor wearing to gilt. Wear consistent with age and use. Sold as a pair only (2). 2 Lights per sconce.

These are marvelous, rare, and absolutely stunning! You will not find these and truly a one time opportunity. These are part of my personal collection. They were acquired after a renovation of a French Chateau where they hung at the entrance to the library. The Amethyst have been cut and fashioned to form prisms and are original to the piece. The minor imperfections can be seen in the large stones and add originality and a testament to the authentic nature. I have to admit each time that I look at these, I have second thoughts about parting with them. The Ivy work is a long standing symbol associated with royalty. These are in working order and pictured on the wall in working order.
